The New Gorbals Housing Association is a forward thinking Housing Association based on Glasgow's South Side renowned for its modern architecture and bespoke art installations on every development.

I completed the design for the annual report for the end of 2005/06. A major project that the association was just about to launch became the inspiration for the front cover. Gorbals Arts Projects were just about to unveil bronze statues of three young boys playing in their mums high heels. Known as the 'Gorbals Boys' the statues are based upon a famous photo of the boys by Oscar Marzaroli. One of the statues made for an interesting cover and indeed it was Oscars wife who released a copy of the original photograph to use within the report.
