Oscars Bar and Grill is a new venue which has just opened in Edinburgh. Working closely with interiors team at Curious we completed all the branding materials for this art-deco inspired venue which was former local bar “The Moat”. The client had indicated that they wanted to create a stylish contemporary bar with an art deco twist. Keen to avoid ‘theme bar’ connotations the interior of the bar whilst modern uses strong art-deco refrences at key points such as the bespoke seating booths and strong nautical like taps on the bar.

The resulting identity uses strong art-deco influences such as the chevrons and outlined border but a more modern clean typographic style, We also worked on creating a suite of promotional materials for the bar including a set of 6 cigarette style business cards, stationery, menus, napkins, refurbished clock face and internal and external signage.
