This concept design for leading weekly UK magazine Design Week was created as part of former design blog The Serif's Re-Designer feature. The idea came from the typographic use of a literal design week, Monday through to Friday. The first image shows the redesigned covers launch issue showing where the masthead structure derives from which is a literal type based design week. The type gradiates out towards the end of the week to echo the feeling amongst many designers as the weekend approaches. Also shown are an illustration based cover issue and photography based version to show the flexibility of the structure. (Illustration used by Si Scott.)
Created as part of the Serif Re-Designer feature.
